It’s getting colder outside, leaves are changing colors, and time for long sleeves to come out! 😛 This actually was a pretty spur of the moment NOTD since I wasn’t even planning on making my manicure last. I originally painted my nails with essie’s Glamour Purse for an interview on Friday, as it was one of my two actual neutrals in my collection, with the intention of changing it right afterwards. However, I ended up keeping it and just put a layer of essie Shine of The Times, which is a flakie topcoat, on top. Can I just say that this is an AWESOME topcoat?! 😀 LOVE IT!!! Anywho….
The way the colors reflect in the light reminds me of the gorgeous colors that the leaves turn to during this time of the year. It has tones of red and orange, with hints of yellow and green, depending on how the nails are angled to the light. The pictures below were taken after three days of wear, indoors with natural lighting. There is some minor tip wear, that’s barely noticeable unless you look closely at the nails. Considering I also didn’t use base coat, they’re in pretty good shape. Two coats of Glamour Purse, one coat of Shine of The Times, and one coat of top coat were used for this manicure. I’ll have reviews of these colors in the coming days.
